Ivana Marjanović
Ivana Marjanović was born in Belgrade. She graduated from the University of Belgrade in 2005 with a degree in art history. In 2017, she completed her PhD at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna ("Staging the Politics of Interconnectedness between Queer, Anti-fascism and No Borders Politics. The Case of QueerBeograd Cabaret") Since 2005, Ivana Marjanović has been working as an art historian, researcher, writer, curator and cultural producer in the fields of contemporary art, culture and theory. She has conceived and organized numerous art projects and publications, as well as published a number of texts in international publications. In 2006, together with Vida Knezević, she founded the Belgrade art space Kontekst Gallery and directed it until 2009. In 2016-2018, Ivana Marjanović was the artistic director and managing director of the Vienna art and culture festival Wienwoche, together with Nataša Mackuljak. Since August 2019, she has been the artistic director and managing director of KUNSTRAUM INNSBRUCK. Since 2019 she is part of the new editorial team of the magazine "Migrazine" - online magazine by migrant women for all.
