WIENWOCHE
“Housing First” is the name of a guiding approach in social work, because a lot depends on the question of, if and how our housing situation looks like. The registered address and the rights that come with it; access to employment and a bank account, psychological and physical health, place of retreat and social life.
Because our ways of living function as a distinctive feature that is connected to our countries of origin and possibilities to experience discrimination, privilege, power and powerlessness. Because living situations tell more about neo-liberal capitalism and everyday intersectionality than many other things.
Let us talk about it: About housing and living conditions, the bad ones and the good ones. About poverty and fortune, inequality and differences, huts and palaces, dispossession, redistribution, collective wealth. And about how everything should go on, with power and privilege, good housing and living for all.
No panel. An evening of discussion that should not remain just that. Collective options of action will be developed with surprising guests, and insights and with individual perspectives.
GOOD LIVING, GOOD LIFE.
