With the artistic-political work entitled “Snaga negrađan*ki” (The Power of Non-Citizens), created in 2024, Rena & Vladan represent a joint struggle of oppressed positions that contradict hegemonic logics and symbols. The image is a visual slogan that expresses the potential of the power of non-citizens.

The flags’ imagery connects the struggles of migrants on the Balkan route and precarious workers. Visual slogans express the cooperative work done by artists and workers, emphasizing the importance of self-management.

Rena Rädle & Vladan Jeremić are Belgrade/Berlin based artists whose research-oriented work comprises drawing, text, video, photography, installation and artistic interventions in public space.They explore the relation between art and politics, unveiling the contradictions of today's societies and developing transformative potentials of art in the context of social struggles.
