WIENWOCHE 2017 OPENING

The opening program of WIENWOCHE 2017 will be happening on September 22nd, from 6 pm till 6am at Fluc and Fluc_Wanne. In front of the venue Kollektiv Bunker will invite you to their Talkshow in a hammock, later the group 150 years after with their revue-theatre and cabaret Finally, we are running out of work will remind you of Karl Marx' opus magnum Capital, published 150 years ago. While they come up with their own DJ-Line, DOLCE FAR NIENTE Opening Party will start simultaneously with a great line-up featuring a. o. the rising star of Swedish transcultural hip-hop scene, Nadia Tehran!!!

Leading a life beyond capitalist production not only requires new production relations, but also innovative relations between bodies. Guided by the beats of electronic music, the DOLCE FAR NIENTE party opens its dance floor — and is inspired by hybrid, transcontinental, subcultural music worlds that cross as well as contest borders. WIENWOCHE 2017 kicks off with both party and politics. As writer Tea Hvala has so splendidly put it: "When we move, it's a movement."
